0 引言:地质测绘是为进行地质调查和矿产勘察及其成果图件的编制所涉及的全部测绘工作的总称。主要包括地质点测量、地质剖面测量、物化探测量、矿区控制测量、矿区地形测量、勘探网布测、勘探工程定位测量、坑探工程测量、井探工程测量、贯通测量、露天矿测量、地表移动观测以及有关图件的绘制、印制和地质矿产信息系统的建立。
地质测绘在过去长期依靠经纬仪、平板仪、水准仪等仪器进行工作,新技术的应用较少。随着现代测绘技术的逐步扩大应用,向老仪器、老设备、老技术告别的时代已经到来。现代测绘技术的核心是3S,即卫星定位技术(GPS)、遥感技术(RS)和地理信息系统技术(GIS )。其中,卫星定位技术和遥感技术是航天技术、卫星技术、传感器技术、现代通信技术、计算机技术等高新技术综合集成的结果,地理信息系统技术是计算机技术、数据库技术、空间分析与模拟(虚拟现实)技术综合集成的结果。
