新概念二第一课说课
The content consists of 5 parts .
Part 1 Analyzing teaching material
This is the firt lesson of Book 2, so I think we should know something about book 2. New concept 2 includes 96 lessons, and this course is divided into 4 units. Each units consists of 24 lessons which becomes longer and more complex as the couse progresses. For instance: in unit it is mainly about simple sentences; two compound sentences, three complex sentences. Four revision. Just like climbing a laddar , step by step,we will get to the higthest level. W hat’s more , book 2 is closly linked to book 1. unit 1 is linked the latter part .
As far as lesson 1 is concerned, this text is an interesting and classical reading.The main topic of lesson 1 is about a story happened in the past the key structure is about word order in sipmle statements。As we know, Well begun is half done . 1 plays an important part in unit 1 and the whole book. This lesson is the first one of Unit 1 , So if the Ss can learn it well, it will be helpful to make the Ss learn the rest of this unit. Part 2 Teaching guideline and teaching methods
Language is for communication, so I will encouge students to catch every possilbe opportunity to speakand use English in class. based on this guideline, I decide to choose guided reading and task-based Teaching. With the teaching methods, I can guide students to use effective reading
strategies to comprehend the text, solve problems and complete different tasks.
Part 3 Teaching aims
1.Aims of the knowledge and ability
(1)To know the spelling of some words and usage of some phrases: private conversation pay attention to pay no attention to , it’s none of your… mind your own business
(2)To improve the ability of getting effective information by reading.
(3)To improve the ability of retelling the story.
3.Aims of the emotion:
(1)To understand how to express feelings.
(2)To obey the public rules. Part 4 Teaching difficulties
1.To know the necessary elements of sentences. 主谓必须有 其它看需要
2.To know order of the words in a statement and then speak correct sentencs. 主谓宾 方地时 时状较随意 句首或句尾
part 5 Teaching steps
Step 1 Lead-in
Let the students watch a video
Step 2 : Video and questions
what is happening in the picture? Understand the situation first
why did the writer complain to the people behind him?
Step 3 : New words.
Ask some Ss to read the words aloud to see whether they can pronounce the words correctly.
Step 4 : Intensive reading:
1) This text is not difficult , so I will divide it into 4 sentence gpoups. and anlyse the sentence pattern 、 sentence structure, and then words and phrases.
What I need to point out is the first time expression : last week , from this time, we know the story happened in the past, 首句定整篇时态。
2) Key struture :write some sentences and lead the Ss to tell the necessary elements of sentences by themselves. And summarize the necessary elements and word order in a statements .
3) Practice :Retell the story: write some key words and pharses on the blackboard and invite Ss to retell the story.
Step 5 Homework
Complete the exercise on Page 14.
Describe an unpleasant experience in a cinema or theatre.
