三、 教材分析
本单元的主题是过去和现在,而介绍了阳光城从过去到现在的变化。通过Millie 对Daniel 爷爷的采访了解阳光城所发生的变化,包括好的和不好的方面。通过这篇文章的学习,使学生更加深刻的了解阳光城提高他们的阅读水平,并就这些变化作出正确的评价。
四、 教学目标
(一)、知识目标:
1. 了解阳光城所发生的变化
2. 通过对文章的学习,了解现在完成时的定义和用法
(二)、技能目标:
1. 掌握在采访中所运用的各种句型
2. 能够通过关键词、上下文和已有知识猜测文章大意和根据具体信息完成相应练习。
(三)、情感目标:
通过本篇的阅读,让学生了解阳光城的变化以及这些变化所带来的利弊,从而对自己的家乡的变化发表正确的观点。
五、 教学重难点
1.培养学生运用阅读策略skimming and scanning来提高阅读能力。
2.掌握与课文有关的词汇,以便运用这些词汇来复述课文。
3.运用所学词汇和句型表达个人思想,对周围所发生的变化作出正确的评价。
六、教学过程
Ste p Ⅰ: Review and Lead-in
1、Review the names of different forms of transport in Beijing using pictures.
2、展示北京过去和现在的图片,并向学生提出以下问题:
What is the name of the city?
Has it changed a lot?
How much do you know about it?

通过图片展示来导入, 既能激发学生的好奇心和求知欲, 又能营造宽松活跃的课堂气氛,让他们一开始就对北京产生极大的兴趣。
接着介绍北京的一些背景知识。
Step Ⅱ: Presentation
T: Daniel ’s grandfather, Mr Chen has lived in Sunshine Town for many years. And this place has changed a lot too. Do you want to know more about the changes to the town? Next, we will learn the interview and do some exercises with four levels, you will get a star if you do it correctly.

通过给与奖励的形式能充分调动学生的积极性,培养学生的参与意识。
1、Listen ,Read and Answer
(1) How long has Mr. Chen lived in Sunshine Town?
(2) How many times did he move house? When?

听录音, 快速阅读并回答浅层次的问题,让学生对课文有大概的了解。
2、Read the text, then write T or F according to the passage.

本课为第一课时,这篇文章采用采访的形式,一问一答,学生通过略读和寻读策略,对文章有了比较全面的了解,在此基础上,让他们用自己的语言将对话变成短文,这既检查了学生的阅读能力,也训练了学生的口语能力,让单个学生复述可能有难度,因此可以让学生互相合作,作此安排是从学情考虑以降低难度。

整合阅读材料和已有知识结构,将阅读技能训练与深层思维训练相结合。本课难点在这个环节得到突破。

七、教学反思
本节是阅读课,目的是运用预测、略读、寻读等阅读策略培养学生阅读技能,训练其深层思维能力。笔者将策略知识、训练的量和学习动机有机结合,由浅入深,由感知到领悟再到运用,由知识向能力迁移。教师在该过程中主要起着引导和协助作用,设计任务实现师生互动,生生互动。学习的方法既有自主学习,又有合作学习和探究性学习,增强了参与意识,给学生提供了充分表现和自我发展的空间,体现了“以学生为中心”的教学原则。
