Charge Higher Entry Fees during Peak Travel Seasons
Due to the busy society nowadays, individuals will choose to travel in some long holiday. Therefore it forms peak travel seasons. While, like others tourist pots, lots of famous sites of historical interest in China have begun or are considering charging tourists higher entry fees during peak travel seasons. And the phenomenon is tending to serious. There are also different opinions for the situation. Some persons agree with the practice, while others don’t agree. I really accept the former view. So I think that famous Chinese sites of historical interest should charge higher fees appropriately during peak travel season.
At first of all, it is very difficult to protect Chinese historical interest, because most of them are made from these materials, like wood, iron or bronze, which are very easily damaged. However, to frail historical interests, a large increasing in the number of tourists does more damage in the travel peak. What’s more, because of the increase in the amount of tourist, the quaintly of pedals around those sites will raise, that are is lack of effective management. Those will give there environment from pollution. And then this will add to the cost of the clean in those famous sites of historical interest. Furthermore, their sum of maintenance is very expensive. Even some historical sites once are destroyed, it is hard to repair them. During peak travel seasons, the number of tourists increasing quickly will inconvenience corresponding management, or these places of interest can’t get effective protection measures. The phenomenon that some visitors destroy them will appear therewith. The increase of personnel may also boost the environmental pressure, the air will also generate a weak change, and many famous sites of historical interest is sensitive to this kind of change. Therefore, those will cause irreversible changes. While charging tourists higher entrance fees during peak travel seasons is a effective measure. So I agree with it. The rising entry fees can add to the liquidation spending of the environment around places of historic interest. In addition, we can use these expenses to strengthen the maintenance of historic sites. On the other hand, higher entry fees can help people considered to visit the historical interests in the off-seasons in order to scatter people, and constraints the behavior of persons more or less.
Protecting the ancestors to stay famous sites of historical interest is our each responsibility. And it is a measure to protect them that charges tourists higher entry fees properly during peak travel seasons. Therefore I am for this kind of practice.
