Respected Leaders of The Company,
Firstly, I would like to thank you to spare a little time to give me this precious opportunity to present me in your office. The following is my brief introduction about my Education Background and Working Experiences, depending on which, I hope, could qualify me with the position provided by your esteemed Company.
I graduated from the English Department of XXX University with a BA Degree. I have gotten the Certificate of TEM8 after four years’ hard study in the University and I also have gotten the Driving License Class I and I am proficient in all kinds of office software and another three additional kinds of local dialects for the Eritrea, Pakistan and Sudan, except the major knowledge.
After graduation, my working experiences can be divided into two parts. The first two-year is in China and the second Seven-year is in the foreign countries.
From Oct. 2002 up to May 2004, I worked in a foreign-trade-oriented company as a salesman in Chongqing, China. The main responsibility here is writing & answering the daily e-mails from the Customers, developing the Southeast market for the Company, assisting the Manager to make the Company’s catalogue and website etc.
After that, I have worked in four different foreign countries consecutively . My first two years’ have been past in a small Africa country, named XXX as an English Translator and Cashier. My main responsibility here is site interpreting, office letter writing, personal & business coordinating (between our Contractor and the local Authorities, like Municipal Administration, Labor Office, Police Station, Water Supply Company and so on) and part of the accounting work (assisting the Accountant to prepare the payroll, giving the salary to the local employees, paying the employee ’ income taxes etc.). My second one and half years have been given to XXX . Here I was a procurement manager and cashier. I have to be responsible for the market development, price enquiry, Contract and delivery preparing when the Project needs any construction material. I also should be responsible for the cashing works to help the Accountant to finish part of his jobs. My third work is very simple and is short term. It is in XXX from Nov. 2008 to Apr. 2009. I only did the site interpreting and personal coordinating work for the Equipment Installation.
And the latest two years of mine have been spent on the XXX Project as an English Translator, Office Administrator and Cashier. During this period, I have been responsible for all the translating and interpreting works, office works, documents and letter preparing and drafting works, warehouse keeping works, cashing works, logistics and reception works etc. And I also have been responsible for preparing and submitting the Interim Payment Certificate for the Project and following up and managing the site progress of the subcontractors and reviewing their Interim Payment Certificate initially and managing the local employees and many other works.
