评教系统的定义:
学生评教系统,即学生可以通过评分来判定教师的教学水平。
好处:
1. 能在某种程度上反映教师的教学水平(represent the teaching quality in a way)
2. 能在学生,教师,学校之间形成沟通(set up communications between…)
3. 总而言之,老师在得到评教分数后能以此为依据提高教学水平
坏处:
1. 不能完全可靠的反应教学能力(It can’t represent the teaching quality reasonably) 由于1. 学生的标准因人而异(the criterion is different from each students)
由于2. 部分学生可能故意评低分(some students may give a low mark to a teacher just for some other reasons)
2. 僵化的评分标准(stubborn choice)并非对每一位老师都适应(is not suitable with every teachers )
Example :we have tens of courses a semester, that means we have to score tens of teachers. And I think it’s a little boring so I will just give them all 10 points. In this time, the system will not work any longer.
总结:评教系统好坏参半,但是在目前情况下评教系统对于大多数老师是能发挥出自己的功效的。而当学校评价老师时,也不能只以分数为唯一标准。
