爱丽丝读后感 英文
Who is Alice? In the story, she is a seven- year-old pretty girl who followed the rabbit to enter the wonderland and made acquaintance with large amounts of animal friends and some poker cards. But now, the Alice that I talk about is not only the pretty little girl in the book, but also the Alice lived in our minds, in our spiritual world. Under this circumstance, I consider Alice as the incarnation of holy morality and a kind of spiritual sign.
So who is Alice, or what is Alice? In my opinions, Alice is the equivalent of "the true, the good and the beautiful as well as brave". Alice is the bright and innocent side of human being's heart. When we were young kids which didn't be stained by the negative energy from the nasty world, everyone can be Alice. My analyses are as flow:
Alice is the equivalent of the truth. She is a sincere and innocent girl. For instance, in the second chapter, Alice tried to placate the mouse and she said: " I think you would take a fancy to cats if you could only see her. She is such a dear quiet thing." The pure Alice forgot that the cats are the natural enemies to mice and she thought that the little mouse would like the thing that she liked. Why did she think like that? Because in her mind, no matter what, just like human, the animal can show love and respect to each other even they are different species. She really wanted to help the poor mouse. And that is the behavior of innocence and sympathy.
Alice is the equivalence of kindness. For example, when she was falling down in a deep hole, she caught a bottle. At first, she thought there was some orange marmalade in it. Unfortunately, it was empty. She did not drop the jar for fear of killing somebody by accident,so she managed to put it in one of the cupboards as she fell past it. Another example is in the chapter eight. When the Red Queen wanted to behead the gardeners, Alice said to them: your heads won't be cut off". She put them in some plants. The solders can not find them so they had to let then go and lied to the Red Queen they had already beheaded the gardeners. From those two examples, we can see that Alice is a kind and warmhearted person, she always considers others. She spared no effect to protect the weak.
Alice is the equivalent of the beautiful and brave. She is exactly a righteous brave person who shows no fear of the strange wonderland. When she confronted the cruel Red Queen, she didn't be a coward and fought against the Queen, which showed her humanitarian spirit. When she was on the ridiculous court, she dared to be the witness and protected the when he was framed by others. She was also so brave to refute the king's unjustifiable sentence. And what is more important, Alice used her own power to do it rather than depend on someone else. She is totally different from the characters in other tales who used the magical power from outside.
If we pursued more profoundly, we will find that Alice obeys the ideology of equality. She treated the first class and the common as the same. She is democratic enough so she can get along well with animals. In Lewis book, Alice had the morality that everyone should follow. But many people ignored that, when he was seven years old. He was also as wonderful and adorable as Alice. Alice is our pure essence. She lived in a beautiful garden located in the bottom of my heart. It is so sad that, when we grow up, our Alice fell into sleep. So we are not brave and kind anymore. We maltreat animals because we think human is more advanced.
Here comes another question. What is the wonderland? Is it an utopia that only existed in our imagination? Or is it only a secondary world which can reflect the real world? Our course, the answer is not. In fact, from many aspects, the wonderland in the book is not an unreal world, but the real world, the true adult's world. In my view, the reason why the author call this adult's
world wonderland is that this world is a strange and distant world for little kids.
You may ask me why the wonderland is the real adult's world. I will show you. This so called wonderland is full of noise and absurdity. All kinds of animals and poker cards stand for different adults. They were rude and indifferent. They always give Alice lessons in adults' tone. D o you remember the beautiful garden that Alice wanted to enter. I think that garden a metaphor of the core of the adult's world. Alice had changed the sizes of herself for many times to adapt it. Finally, the garden is not good for her. The wonderland is not a wonderful land but is an ugly land.
