Today I will introduce some delicious food that I have ever eaten to you. There is many popular dishes in our hometown, mostly spicy and hot well present its diversity and complexity.We take rice as staple food ,and we eat chili in every meal cause wet weather.
Firstly ,I will introduce the breakfast--ground rice 米粉. The rice flour is made of rice and glutinous rice. And according to their shape we give them two names. The cylindrical one we call it 水粉,and the other one we call it 米皮. Now you see is 水粉,and this is Ground rice of mutton . It Originated in Zunyi, it is a popular local flavor with long history. It is made up of stewed mutton, parsley (香菜) ,little green onion and the most fried chili. You know mutton is a food of heat so in our hometwon eating more mutton is good for you. But in here if you eat more mutton or chili,the whelk will cover your face. Now you see this is Ground rice with fatty intestine and pig blood. It is made up of fatty intestine,pig blood ,ground rice ,few bean sprouts , little green onion and fried chili. Maybe some girls don ’t like to eat fatty intestine that can let the weight gain,but that w onderful taste can ’t be denied especially for me. And the pig blood can clear away the lung-heat. In summer we should eat more.
Maybe ground rice of Spicy chicken is very hot to you. The spicy chicken is famous Sichuan dish. The spicy chicken is made up of chicken,picle chili ,fried chili,bean sauce etc..
Ok this is Bean curd pudding noodles. It is very special to eat. You can see there are two bowls on the table ,the noodles and bean curd in the bigger one and the thick chili sauce in the other one ,you need let noodles into the sauce. Bean curd is made of soya bean.Characterized by white, high nutritive value, it tastes soft, fragrant and delicious. The thick chili sauce is made up of meat ,chili,some fried peanuts ,mushrooms and yuxiang that tast like mint.
As one of the popular snacks in Guiyang, love bean curd is a small piece of bean curd roasted on an oiled iron sheet or wire mesh over chaff fire. When roasted to be brownish, oily and swollen, it is cut open and stuffed with the sauce of hot pepper, soy sauce, vinegar, sesame oil, monosodium glutamate, chopped green scallion, mashed garlic and ginger. When eating it hot, you will find it very spicy, tender, tasty and delectable.
It gets its name because various kinds of "Shreds" are wrapped up like newborn infants in thin rice-flour pancakes. Put a handful of shreds of vegetables like kelp, radish, bean sprouts, cucumber, Zhe ergen
(Houtturynia), fried soybeans and pasted chili in it. Then roll up the cake
and put in some sour and hot sauce. Putting the roll into the mouth, you will find it a little bit hot, crisp, sour, tasty and refreshing.
The bean jelly is made of pea. Add some hot pepper, soy sauce, vinegar, sesame oil and green onion then mix them,you can taste a hot , delicious and soft bean jelly.
Rice cakes is made of glutinous rice. Every year when the Spring festival comes we will cook some rice cakes for those who come here to say happy new year.
Ice jelly is made up of jelly ,peanuts , sesame, raisin, waxberry,mung bean and some fruits. It taste sweet, soft and delicious and can make you feel cool.This was my favourite when I was a child. Now I still like it ,but I eat fewer than before cause it become more and more expensive.
Ribs covered straw is a famous dish in our hometown ,because of the town of spring(温泉镇). The town is famous of the spring ,when we have been to there, we must order this dish. When you peeled the rice straw ,you can smell the fragrance of ribs mixed with rice straw.
Now I have to say sorry to you ,cause the next dishes I can’t translate them in Chinese. So please just see it.
Hot Pot
The majority of restaurants in Beijing, big or small, serve huoguo, or hot pot. Customers sit around a table on which is place a hotpot. When the
water in the pot boils,they dip paper-thin slices of mutton in the water and , seconds later,get the cooked mutton out of the opt and mix them with a sauce that contains sesame butter, salted leek and a dozen other ingredients. People also cook frozen bean curd,Chinese cabbage and vermicelli in the hot pot
