导游词 Good morning,everyone.Let me introduce my colleagues(四个人的名字),and my name is xxx. On behalf of China Travel Service and my colleagues, I would like to welcome you to China and our hometown, Quanzhou. I shall be your local guide during your stay in Quanzhou. I would like to introduce our driver , Mr.Zheng. He has 10 years of driving under his belt, so you are in safe hand. We will do our very best to make your stay in QZ pleasant and enjoyable. Quanzhou is an ancient city,located on the lower reaches of the Jin River in the southeast of Fujian by the sea. It's built up area (Metro) is home to 6,070,617 inhabitants encompassing Licheng, Fengze, Luojiang urban districts ; Jinjiang, Nan'an and Shishi cities ; Hui'an county and Quanzhou District for Taiwanese Investment.
As you know, we have 3 days travel. And today is our first day, we prepare to go to Hui’an county. Here is our itinerary.
Chongwu Ancient City, located on the southern tip of Chongwu Peninsula, Fujian Province is a national heritage conservation unit of China. The Chongwu ancient city wall is one of the seven ancient city walls in China.
There are four city gates at the four directions of the city with one beacon over each gate. The city wall is 2457 metres long and 7 metres high. (The ground base is 5 metres high.) There are ramparts, embrasures, peep-holes, and apertures for archers on the wall. If you climb up to the top of the Ancient City, you can get a bird's view eye of the beach.
Historical records trace the construction of the origin of the City to defensive fortification back to the year 1387 A. D., during the reign of the Ming Dynasty. Therefore, many experts are also eager to come here for historical research.
Nowadays, Chongwu Ancient City is popular with the travellers. Most people visit there for its Stone Carving Park, which can be considered as the museum of stone carving.
The Stone Carving Park was built beside and on the beach taking an area of 9 hectares. The stone carvings there are of a large variety and with profound meaning. These stone carvings show the charm of the nature and they record the history and culture of Chongwu and China.
As you enter the Stone Carving Park, you can first see the statue of the Hui'an Women with their characteristic costume that can be only seen in Chongwu.
The statue of Qi Jiguang is standing at the axes of the park. ( Qi Jiguang is one of the national hero's in the Ming Dynasty ). It is 10.8 metres high and creates a magnificent view.
Also, there are the stone carvings of the characters from the classical works such as the Chinese Gods' Stone Carving. The character's of the Four Masterpieces of China, Maitreya, Eighteen Disciples of the Buddha, and others.
However, among all the stone carving groups, Yulongku is the most attractive one. There are more than 150 kinds of stone carvings of marine animals, all of which are scattered on the beach. When you visit there, you may be attracted by the magnificent stone carving of a turtle. It is 23 metres long and 15 metres wide, and settled by the sea. Therefore, the people gave it a name of “Turtle having fun with the water”.

The traditional garb of the Hui'an women, a floral pattern kerchief, short jacket, silver waist belt and loose trousers is jokingly referred to as the "feudal head, democratic belly, thrifty jacket, and wasted
trousers" costume. The short jackets they wear expose their bellies and waists, representing "democracy" or freedom and also save material for "thrift".
Are you attracted by Hui’an wowen? If you are, just buy some souvenirs as a nice memory. This is The Traditional Garb of The Hui'an Women. This is Hui'an Stone Carving. Action is better than emotion.

Yesterday, we have mentioned QZ. Looking out of the window, do you see the flowers? The flower is erythrina(刺桐花). It’s QZ’s city flower. And QZ is a time- honoured city of civilization and a famous hometown for numerous overseas Chinese and Taiwan compatriots. And it was the largest port at Yuan Dynasty in Eastern.
The people of Quanzhou have various kinds of religious belief. Quanzhou is called the the religious museum and has created a wonder in the religious. It was Concentrated more than nine religious in the center of this city in the past. Kinds of religious culture was handed down.Today, We are going to visit the Kaiyuan Temple.
Now, we are in the Kaiyuan Temple.
Kaiyuan Temple is a Buddhist temple in West Street, Quanzhou, China, the largest in Fujian province with an area of 78,000 square meters. Behind its main hall "Mahavira Hall”(大雄宝殿), there are some columns decorated by some Hindu carvings. The carvings are dispersed across five primary sites in Quanzhou and the neighboring areas. They were made in the South Indian style, and share close similarities with 13th century temples constructed in the Kaveri Delta region in Tamil Nadu. Nearly all of the carvings were carved with greenish-gray granite, which was widely available in the nearby hills and used in the region's local architecture. In 1983, it was designated as a national temple.
The temple is one of the outstanding examples of Chinese architecture and art. Flying musicians are carved on pillars that support the roof of the Hall of One Hundred Pillars. The two pagodas that stand opposite each other in front of the main hall in the temple, Purple Cloud Hall, are octagonal five-tier stone buildings with exquisite carvings. Two images of Buddha are carved on each of the eight sides. Forty ancient Buddhist tales are inscribed on the walls of one of the pagodas.
Twin pagodas near Kaiyuan Temple are also famous. The east one is Zhenguo Pagoda(镇国塔) and the west one Renshou Pagoda(仁寿塔). They are forty meters in height, as the highest
twin pagodas in China. They are the unique symbol of the ancient city of Quanzhou.
It’s time to have a lunch. Let me introduce some snake for you. This is Rouzong (it is Pyramid-Shaped Dumplings Made of Pork) these dumplings are made with many ingredients including not only pork and glutinous rice, but also mushrooms, chestnuts, lotus seeds, ham and chicken. This is Kezai Jian (Fried Oyster)
this is a traditional snack cooked with big, fleshy oysters and fresh leeks.
Nanyin is a style of Chinese classical music originating in the southern Chinese province of Fujian (福建), and is also now highly popular in Taiwan, particularly Lukang.
It is a genre strongly associated with male-only community amateur musical associations (quguan or "song-clubs"); each formerly generally linked to a particular temple, and is viewed as a polite accomplishment and a worthy social service, distinct from the world of professional entertainers.

Tumen Street means “ Clay Street ”. It got the name from a folk story that it was once a place to store and convey stones and clay for building Twin Pagodas. Tumen Street lies in the center of the
city proper stretching from Wenling Road in the east to Zhongshan Road in the west totaling 1005 m long. It is a busy street integrating commerce, trade, tourism and culture. T here are multiple “ Maritime Silk Route ”cultural relic groups. You can buy some souvenirs such as Dehua Porcelain and Quanzhou Puppet Head.

Jinjiang City is a county-level city of Quanzhou City.It’s known for the large number of foreign-invested factories which operate there, especially in the clothing and name-brand footwear industry.
Jinjiang boasts many ancient cultural and religion relics. It is also blessed with beautiful scenic spots because of its special geographic location. Here, we will show you some most important tourist destinations.
Anping Bridgeis a Song Dynasty stone beam bridge in China'sFujian province. It is 2,070 metres long. The bridge is also known as the Wuli Bridge,because its length is about 5 li. It is a nationally protected historic site registered with the State Administration of Cultural Heritage. The bridge is named after Anhai, which was formerly known as Anping.Anping Bridge consists of 331spans of granite beams resting on top of stone piers,
the largest beam weighing25 tons. It originally had five pavilions where travelers could rest; however, only one pavilion (Shuixin Pavilion) still exists. Construction of the bridge started in 1138 during the Southern Song Dynasty and lasted until 1151. Upon completion, it was the longest bridge in China until 1905,the local description, "No bridge in the world is as long as this one"天下无桥长此桥
Look , here comes the Paixiong dancing
Paixiong dance is one of the most representative folk dance in Fujian Province. The form of Paixiong dance is relatively simple, which can be anywhere free to dance. Paixiong dance’s traditional dancers are male, wearing a grass hoops, topless, barefoot. Their action tends to a single rhythm with hit, beat, fold, stamp. In a word, the paixiong dance’s style is rough, simple, humorous, warm.
Let’ s have some local flavours. Have you ever eaten a kind of insect? Look at this picture, it is Tusun Dong.Tusun Dong (Seawormjelly ) is a kind of eatable insect about four inches long living on the sandy shores. Locals often remove the insects' haslets and boil only their outer bodies in clear water. It is very delicious.
The other famous local food is Shenhu Yuwan (Fish Pellet) This dish is quite representative of Quanzhou cuisine. And this is ginger duck .
Now we are going to buy some souvenirs. SM Square is the first choice.JinjiangSM Square isoneofthe Philippine SM group investment in Chinese market. It opened on November 26, 2005 and is one of the most comprehensive shopping center in Fujian province.
This is Anxi tieguanyin. It is a premium variety of Chinese oolong tea originated in the 19th century in Anxi in Fujian province. This is Yongchun Paper Woven Painting.
