The viscosity of a 6.67% solution of gelatine is determined at 60·C by measuring the flow time of 100 ml of the solution through a standard pipette.
For hydrolysed gelatin the viscosity of a 10% or 20% solution is determined at 25·C by measuring the flow time of 100 ml of the solution through a standard pipette.
