英语课堂有效教学策略
一 以学生为主体对教学目标进行有效设计。
一、Designing teaching goals effectively according to the student-centered principle
(一) 以课程标准、教材和学生实际为设计课程的依据。
(一)Designing curriculum on the basis of curriculum standards, teaching materials and students’ actual circumstances
1、Teachers need to read as many as books concerning teaching materials carefully and then grasp curriculum standard of each lesson; read teaching materials , combing teaching content of each lesson, construct knowledge network and grasp teaching emphasis and difficulties; analyze students’ actual circumstances including their habit, interest, attitudes to learnt materials ,class level ,mental level and whether they have grasped related knowledge and skill needed to learn new knowledge and so on. And then teachers should make comprehensive analysis to determine the three-dimensional teaching aim of the lesson.
1、通过阅读“教参”等有关书籍,把握每课所对应的课程标准;仔细阅读教材,梳理每课的教学内容,构建知识网络,把握教学重点和难点;对学生的实际状况进行分析,包括:学生的学习习惯、兴趣、态度、班级水平和心智水平以及对所学内容的态度、学生是否已经掌握了新的学习所需要的相关知识和技能等。再将几方面的分析进行综合,确定本课的三维教学目标。
2、尊重学生的个体差异,目标设计要体现层次性。面对学生的英语水平参差不齐的状况,我们的教学过程不能固守统一进度、统一要求的传统教学模式,而应针对学生不同的知识基础和接受能力,设计多层次的教学目标。具体可根据学生的基础水平、学习能力、学习态度将学生分为低、中、高(A、B、c)三个层次,并据此制定出与之相适应的分层次教学目标。
2、Teachers ought to respect students’ individual differences and target design should reflect gradations. Faced with students’ jagged English language ability, teachers can’t stick to the traditional teaching mode of unified schedule and requirements, but should design multi-level teaching goals according to different knowledge foundation and receptivity. Specifically, they can divide students into three levels including high, middle and low level according to students’ basic level, learning ability and learning attitude and then formulate corresponding hierarchical teaching goals.

有效教学需要教师自觉养成经常总结与反思的习惯。反思是为了更好地提高课堂教学的效益,对促进教师自身专业发展、培养学生的创新能力、提高教学质量具有十分重要的作用。课后应反思的方面包括教学活动过程的得、失、学生情况、改进办法以及学生提出的问题和反馈意见等。
Teachers need to develop a habit of summarizing and reflecting to achieve effective teaching. To have a reflection is beneficial to improve class teaching efficiency better, promote teachers’ professional development, cultivate students’ creative ability and improve teaching quality. After-school reflection includes gain and loss in teaching activities students’ situation, ways to improve and questions and feedback students have posed.
策略二:积极开发、有效使用教学资源。
二: Exploiting actively and using effectively teaching resources
Teachers should try to utilize rationally and exploit actively curriculum resources and provide students with healthy and abundant curriculum resources close to them and practical contents to wide channels to learn and use English. Then how to effectively develop and utilize course resources to wide learning channels. I think teachers should use the following resources in accordance with the principle of practicability, interest, richness and reasonable operation.
英语课程要力求合理利用和积极开发课程资源,给学生提供贴近学生实际、贴近时代内容健康又丰富的课程资源,拓展学习和运用英语的渠道。开发和利用课程资源,对于转变学生的学习方式,对于教师创
造性地实施有效教学都具有非常重要的意义。如何有效地开发利用课程资源,拓展学用渠道呢?
本人认为应按照实用性、趣味性、丰富性和易操作性原则合理使用下列资源:
(一) Text resources
1、Making full use of English newspapers and magazines
2、Paying attention to collecting English materials around you
(一)文本资源。
文本资源是学生接触最广泛的、最重要的、不可代替的课程资源。其他诸如课件资源、网络资源等都不能完全摆脱文本资源而独立存在。文本资源的开发和利用是最广泛、最易行的,除教材、练习之外,我的做法是:
1、充分利用英语报刊杂志。要求学生到图书馆查找、阅读或根据自己的兴趣爱好及个人的英语水平订阅合适的英语报刊杂志,如《英语沙龙》、《英语广场》等,做摘抄或剪报,学期末举行学习成果展览、交流活动,以增加学生的阅读量,增强信息收集整理、英语口笔头表达、交流能力。Students are required to go to the library to find, read and subscribe to appropriate English newspapers such as “English salon”, “English square” and so on according to their own interest, hobbies and personal level of English. Their extract or clipping from newspapers or magazines will be displayed on semester learning achievements exhibition and exchange activities in order to increase their
reading quantity, enhance information and the ability of English speaking, writing and communicating.

2、留心收集身边的英语。English is everywhere in our life. Advertisement, clothes, stationery, street signs, etc all have English above which are all valuable curriculum resources. Teachers can organize students to collect those English materials and to use them to communicate with others. In this way, students can not only learn many English words and knowledge but also arouse their learning enthusiasm.英语在我们的生活中随处可见,路牌、广告、服装、文具等上面都有英语,这些都是宝贵的课程资源。我组织学生收集、交流这些身边的英语。有广告词、商品简介、名言、使用说明等。通过这种方式,学生学会了许多单词和英语知识,充分调动了他们的学习积极性。

语言是有声的,因此影音资源必不可少。其逼真、生动的画面,悦耳的音响,使学生的思维活跃,有助于学生发挥学习的主动性,从而优化教学过程。
1、Students are required to watch English TV programs such as “Action English” of the central six set and “Outlook English Magazine” of the central ten set. Students can choose to watch those programs according to their own hobbies and need. It is good to cultivate students’ language sense, improve listening competence and expand vocabulary.
1、要求学生收看英语电视节目。如中央六台的“动感英语”、中央十台的“希望英语杂志”等节目,学生可以根据自己的爱好及需要有选
择的收看。这对培养学生的语感、提高听力、扩大词汇量都有好处。
2、English songs are curriculum resources that students are glad to accept which is a kind of combinations of English language learning and entertainment. They can not only cultivate students’ aesthetic temperament of appreciating music but also mobilize their interest in learning and learn authentic and pure English. What’s more, knowing about pop music is an effective way of understanding western thinking and language habits. Through learning to sing, students can get much fun as well as grasp many words, sentence patterns and expression ways. Besides, their language sense will be cultivated and their pronunciation will be exercised.
2、学唱英语歌曲。英语歌曲是学生乐于接受的课程资源。它融英语语言学习与娱乐为一体。既可培养学生欣赏音乐的审美情趣,又能调动学生的学习兴趣,并学到地道、纯正的英语。而且流行音乐是我们了解西方人的思维及语言习惯的一种有效方式。通过学唱,学生既能
获得了乐趣,又可以掌握了很多词汇、句型和语言表达方式,更重要的是培养了语感,锻炼了发音。
3、 Using English original films inspire students' interest in learning English, guides the student to watching English original films at the same time, improve their English listening, speaking, reading and writing ability, to improve the ability of using English language.
Teachers can use original English films to inspire students’ interest in English and guide them to improve their listening, speaking, reading and writing ability so as to improve the ability to use it. The process can be divided into three steps. Firstly, teachers play the introduction and cultural background of the film. Secondly, teachers pose questions related to the content of the film and require students to watch it with the questions. Thirdly, teachers play wonderful clips once again and require students to learn ,imitate and perform those classic dialogues.
3、播放英语电影。利用英语原声电影激发学生学英语的兴趣,引导学生在观看英语原声电影的同时,提高自身的英语听、说、读、写能力,达到提高运用英语语言的能力。步骤:(1)影片内容简介和文化背景介绍;(2)提出与影片内容密切相关的问题,学生带着问题观看电影,观后回答问题;(3)精彩片断回放与经典对白的学习、模仿和表演。
策略三:培养兴趣,激发动机,重视师生感情交流,共建和谐课堂。
三、Cultivating interest, inspiring motive ,paying great attention to emotional communication between teachers and students and building a harmonious class
(一) Going into classrooms with smile, treating every student equally and communicating with students actively
(一)带着微笑走进课堂,平等对待每个学生,主动与学生进行情感沟通。
Teachers should pay special attention to students’ emotion, respect each student especially those with introverted personalities and learning difficulties. What teachers should do is to encourage them to try their best in their learning. What’s more, teachers need to create various kinds of activities for cooperative learning to encourage students to learn form each other, help each other, experience collective sense of honor and achievement and develop cooperative spirit. Consequently, harmonious communication channels between teachers and students and loose, democratic and harmonious teaching atmosphere will be built for better teaching.
教师要特别关注学生的情感,尊重每个学生,尤其要关注性格内向或学习有困难的学生,积极鼓励他们在学习中努力尝试。创设各种合作学习的活动,促使学生互相学习、互相帮助,体验集体荣誉感和成就感,发展合作精神,建立融洽的师生交流渠道,努力营造宽松、民主、和谐的教学氛围。
(二)以表扬、鼓励为主,开展各种趣味活动,激发学习动机。
Giving priority to praise and encouragement and develop all kinds of funny activities to stimulate students’ learning motivation
1、Praise and awards. When teachers have good performance in study, teachers will immediately praise and award them. Such encouragement as “Very good!”, “You are very clever!”, “You’ve done a great job!” should be hung on teachers’ lips. The form of praise and awards can be verbal, written and some small prizes. Awards should be given to those students who actively participate in class activities and finish task successfully and achieve progress in their learning especially those with poor basis and low interest in learning and unwillingness to communicate actively at ordinary times. By doing those, students will feel pleasure of success and love from teachers, set up mind set of success in order to harmonize relationship between teachers and students and improve interest in learning.
1、表扬和奖品。每当学生在学习中有好的表现时,我就即时对学生进行表扬和奖励。将“Very good!”、“You are clever!”、“You’ve done a good job!”等鼓励的话常挂在嘴边。表扬和奖励的形式有口头、书面表扬和小奖品。奖品奖给主动参与课堂活动并出色完成任务的学生及学习有进步的学生——特别是那些基础差、学习兴趣低、平时不愿主动交际的学生。让他们感到成功的喜悦,树立成功的心理定势,
使他们感觉到老师的关爱,从而融洽师生关系,提高学习兴趣。
2、English games can be introduced into class. As we all know, games can arouse students’ emotion, promote thinking activities so that students will produce the desire naturally of speaking English to make communication practice flexible and easy to lead, besides, to make dull teaching natural communication and improve teaching efficiency greatly. Games can also make students realize that English is a communication tool and is closely related to their real life so as to improve their understanding of English and practical significance of learning it. In games, students’ attention will be highly concentrated , potential of English thinking will be fully ,intelligence will be given to its full play and knowledge they’ve learnt will be obviously improved .What’s more, their imagination and innovative thinking ability will be promoted to a great degree.
2、将英语游戏引入课堂。游戏能调动学生的情绪,促进思维活动,使学生自然而然地产生说英语的愿望,使交际训练灵活多变,易于引导,使沉闷的教学交际变成有目的、有内容的自然交际,大大提高教学效率。游戏还可使学生感到英语确实是交际工具,是与现实生活密切相关的,从而提高对英语的认识,使英语学习具有实际意义。在游戏中,学生的注意力会高度集中,英语思维的潜力得到充分挖掘,聪明才智得到充分发挥,平时学到的知识得到充分运用,英语水平得到明显提高,还可培养学生的想象力和创新思维能力。
策略四:创设真实情境,让学生在体验、实践中学习、提高。 四:Creating real situation to let students learn and improve in experience and practice
(一)依靠教学讲台,以语言、表情、动作、实物等创设最直接、最经济的教学情境。教师在课堂上要活泼、风趣、幽默,在讲台用自己的言行影响、感染学生,激发学生热情,将学生带入自觉的学习境地。例如,在学习shopping时,事先准备好orange,banana,bread和各种饮料,上课时陈列出来,变讲台为柜台,请学生分别扮演店员和顾客。适用的情景还有:打电话、看病、去邮局等。这种形式有效地训练了听、说和直接运用英语进行思维的能力,很受学生欢迎。
(一) Teachers should rely on teaching platforms and use language, expression, action, real objects and so on to create the most direct and economic teaching situation. They should be lively, witty and humorous and use their own words and actions to influence, affect students to stimulate their passion and lead them to learning situations consciously. Take the lesson “Shopping” for example. Teachers can prepare an orange, a banana, some bread and several drinks for displaying in class. When class begins, the teacher will turn the teaching platform into a counter and requires two students to play the role of a salesperson and customer respectively. Of course, there are many applicable scenarios
such as making a phone call, seeing the doctor, going to the post office and so on. This popular form of teaching trains the ability of the direct use of English listening, speaking and thinking.
(二)多媒体课件创设情境。有研究表明,由听觉引起的注意力可达到64%。英语教学中听力是基础,使用多媒体教学能为学生提供良好的听说环境,创设逼真的情境,从而营造浓郁的学习氛围。依据教学目标设计PPT课件,成为课堂教学的补充。利用多媒体课件向学生展示教学内容和组织教学活动,可以激发学生学习的兴趣,活跃课堂气氛,取得较好的教学效果。
(二) Multimedia courseware can be used to create learning circumstances. Research has shown that auditory attention can reach to 64%. Listening is the foundation of English teaching and using multimedia to teach can provide students with a good environment for listening and a realistic situation so as to create a rich learning atmosphere. Designing PPT courseware according to teaching goals becomes a supplement of classroom teaching. Using multimedia courseware to show teaching content and organize teaching activities can arose students’ interest in learning, active classroom atmosphere and achieve better teaching effect.
(三) Real scene should be set up to place students among them and increase practical experience. Only English from reality is the most valuable. That is called learning in using. Teachers can create situation to make students to stimulate real communication such as “asking the way”,
“in a coffee shop”, “service”,“hotel reception”and so on. Only By doing that can students learn effectively through experience and practice. As a result, students’ participation consciousness and innovative thinking ability will be activated and improved and they will become real masters of learning and promote their professional ability of language use so as to lay a good foundation for their future employment and lifelong development.
(三)设置真实情景,使学生置身其中,增加实际体验。只有来源于生活并运用于生活的英语才是最有价值的,即“在用中学”。教师可以创设情境,让学生模拟真实的交际,比如“问路”、“收银”、“在咖啡店”、“餐厅服务”、“宾馆接待”等。让学生通过体验、实践的方式做到有效地学,活学活用。这样就激活了学生的参与意识,提高了学生的创新思维能力,学生真正成为学习的主人,进一步增强了学生的语言运用能力和职业能力,为今后的就业和终身发展打下良好的基础。
