英语说课稿六Project (高中英语模块三1-3)
Unit 1 The world of our sense (Project)
Good morning, teachers! My name is XXX and I am No.5. It is my great honor to have an opportunity to talk about some of my teaching ideas. My topic is Project Developing an ad campaign taken from Unit 1, The world of our sense. My teaching plan will include four parts. They are my understanding of this lesson, my teaching theories ,methods and aids, teaching steps and blackboard design.
Part 1 My understanding of this lesson: The analysis of the teaching material:
This is the last period of this unit. The topic of this unit is The world of our sense. Project gives a chance for students to learn to produce a TV show. The topic is close to students’ life so it is easy to stimulate their interest in learning. Teaching objectives:
Knowledge objective: Help students to learn some important words, phrases and sentences
Ability objective: Help students to learn to produce a TV show.
Emotional objective: Make students interested in learning English by doing a project Teaching important and difficult points:
It is important for students to learn to produce a TV show. It is difficult for students to do the effective research of an animal’s sense Something about the students :
The students are in Senior Grade 1 and they have been studying English for more than 6 years. They have got enough basic skills for English learning. And the students have known something about TV show in their daily life but they do not produce a TV show in English.
Part 2 My teaching theories, methods and aids.
According to the modern perception theories and social intercourse teaching theories, I adopt the TSA method and TBLT method in my teaching, namely Total Situational Action and Task-based language Teaching.
I use the methods of interaction, Question and answer, watch and listen activity, free discussion, pair work and individual work.
I'll do my best to get my students involved in the class activities using pictures, multimedia, tape recorder, diagram, and body language to create a practical and agreeable atmosphere. During the course of the teaching, I encourage the students to carry out lots of input and output activities by means of seeing, discussing, analyzing, reading and speaking ,in pairs or individually.
Part 3 Teaching procedures
In order to realize the teaching process efficiently, I divide the teaching process into X steps.
Step 1 Revision
I will help students to review some key points in the last lesson and check the homework. Through this part we can consolidate what they studied yesterday, communicate with them about their study and prepare for the new lesson. Step 2 Warming up and lead in
I will raise a question. “Do you know some dangerous animals on the land?”, then I will show them some pictures about those dangerous animals on the land, and also show the dangerous animals in water.
The purpose of this step is to bring their attention to class. Therefore, it will offer students a relaxing atmosphere and stimulate students’ interests in English learning. Step 3 Fast reading
I will let students listen to the recording of the text and answer the three questions to get a general idea of this reading material on page 18.
(1) Do all the sharks attack human beings? (2)Are many people attacked by sharks every year?
(3) Why is the number of shark attacks increasing?
The purpose of this step is to help students understand and learn the basic information of Shark attacks. Step 4 Careful reading
I will ask students to read the material again carefully to get detailed information and work out the main information in each part. Then, I will ask Ss to report the main idea of each paragraph to the class. And I will check them answer.
The purpose of this step is to help my students further understand this reading material. Step 6 Reading about pigeons
I will ask students to read the text on page 19 and answer three questions in order to get a general idea.
(1) Why did the officer write a message in the story? (2) By what means was the message sent? (3) How do pigeons find their way? The purpose of this step is to help my students understand the basic information of The wonderful world of pigeons. I will ask students to list the useful words and expressions from the two reading materials in notebook and make preparations for writing an handout. The purpose of this step is to make my students master the knowledge in this lesson well and let them learn some more writing skills.
Do part A1 and A2 on page 90 in workbook. Produce a TV show about how an animal uses its senses.
Part 4 Blackboard design
On the left of the blackboard, I’ll write down some language points and on the right are some suggested answers.

Unit 2 Language (Project)

This is the last period of this unit. The topic of this unit is Language. Project gives a chance for students to learn to make a speech about sport. The topic is close to students’ life so it is easy to stimulate their interest in learning. Teaching objectives:
Knowledge objective: Help students to know the development of Chinese characters.
Ability objective: Help students to learn to design a booklet.
Emotional objective: Make students interested in the development of Chinese characters Teaching important and difficult points:
It is important for students to learn about development of language. It is difficult for students to design a booklet. Something about the students :
The students are in Senior Grade 1 and they have been studying English for more than 6 years. They have got enough basic skills for English learning. And the students have known something about the development of Chinese characters in their daily life but they do not designing a booklet.

I will show the students a picture of a rage of mountains. Simplify the image using lines. And explain how it became the origin of the character “山”. Introduce the topic “The development of Chinese characters”.
The purpose of this step is to attract their attention to class. Therefore, it will offer students a relaxing atmosphere and stimulate students’ interests in English learning. Step 3 Fast reading
I will let students listen to the recording of the text and skimming the text. Then discuss the structure of the text between partners. Think about how many parts we can divide the whole text into.
The purpose of this step is to check the Ss reading ability by listening and check them if master the knowledge. Step 4 Careful reading
I will ask Ss to read the passage paragraph by paragraph, and summarize the main idea for each part. And I will check their answer. The purpose of this step is to help students understand how the Chinese character was developed . Step 5 Reading about Braille
I will ask students to read the text on page 39 and answer several questions in order to get a general idea.
Who is Braille? What happened to him when he was three years old?
How did he create his system? What do you think of Braille and his system?
Then check their answers.
The purpose of this step is to help my students understand the basic information of Braille I will let students summarize what we have learnt.
I will ask them to prepare the speech in groups of four and finish B1, B2 on page 99 of the workbook, and find more information on the Internet about the development of Chinese characters.

Unit 3 Tomorrow’s world (Project Writing a science fiction story )

This is the last period of this unit. The topic of this unit is Back to the past. Project gives a chance for students to learn to make a poster about a historical figure. The topic is interesting so it is easy to stimulate their interest in learning. Teaching objectives:

Ability objective: Help students to learn how to introduce someone important in history.
Emotional objective: Make students interested in learning English Teaching important and difficult points:

I will play the tape for Ss to listen and pay attention to the pronunciation and intonation of the passage on Page 58.
Then I will ask Ss to answer the following questions.
Where was the statue discovered in Xinjiang probably from? When did Alexander become king? What was his ambition? Did his own army always support him? How old was he when his kingdom became the largest in the world?
And I will check them answers. The purpose of this step is to check students if understand the reading materials. Step 4 Careful reading
I will ask Ss to read the passage paragraph by paragraph, and summarize the main idea for each part. And I will check their answer. The purpose of this step is to help students understand how the culture spread. Step 5 Reading about western philosophy
I will ask students to read the text on page 59 and answer several questions in order to get a general idea.
What does the word ‘philosophy’ mean? Who was Socrates?
What was his special way of teaching? What is the basis of modern philosophy and science? What do people think of him? Then I will ask students to compare the two figures according to the article. Step 6 Consolidation
I will make a summary about what have been learned in this lesson.
The purpose of this step is to help my students master the knowledge in this lesson well. Step 7 Homework
Work in small groups, discuss and research someone famous in history
