MODULE 3
Unit 1 Collecting stamps is my hobby
一、教学目标 (Teaching Objectives)
(一)知识目标 (Knowledge Objectives):
1. 能听得懂,会读,会说,会拼写单词:collect stamps, hobby, men, women
2. 能听得懂,会说,会读,会写句型:
a. Do you collect stamps? –Yes, I do.
b. Have you get any stamps from China? –Yes, I have.
c. These are some stamps from Canada. This stamp is from China.
(二)技能目标 (Ability Objectives)
1. 通过学习,使学生能够运用句型来询问兴趣爱好,以及描述各种各样邮票,提高学生语言运用能力
2. 通过对比this stamp 和these stamps等,让学生通过感知、感悟,初步了解名词复数变化规律。
(三)情感目标 (Moral & Emotion)
通过对本课的学习,使学生形成“健康的兴趣爱好,有利于陶冶情操”这观念,鼓励学生利用健康的兴趣爱好丰富课余生活。
二、重点和难点 (Teaching key & Difficult points)
(一)重点:根据新课程标准对听说能力的要求,我确定本课重点为提高学生的听说能力,让学生听懂本课Activity 2的句型并能利用这些句型看图进行交流。
(二)难点:学生口语水平的提高,达到能较熟练地运用重点句型进行表达。
通过先听后说,同时展示不同的邮票,让学生和老师共同讨论等方式,以不断鼓励的方法突破难点。
三、教学方法及手段
利用多媒体课件,教学卡片和录音机,采用直观教学法和情境教学法。
四、教学过程
1.Warming—up
1)Greetings:
T:Today is nice and this is my first English lesson with you.I am glad to see all of you here.Let’s enjoy our lesson.now,sing the song ―There is a Great Wall in China‖.
师生课前对话增进师生之间的了解,为课堂营造良好的氛围。
2)Sing the song : There is a Great Wall in China.
(3) Listen and do the actions.
(Teacher says some sentences and let all the children do the actions) T:I’m watching TV. I’m listening to music. I’m playing football. I’m reading a book. I’m taking pictures. I’m doing my homework. I’m eating bananas. I’m drinking milk. I’m playing computer games.
S: (Do the actions.)
(设计意图:利用小学生活泼好动的特点,通过说说做做活动复习现在进行时,充分调动学习学习英语的积极性,让学生很快进入学习英语的状态,为后面的师生对话打基础。)
T: I like listening to music. What do you like?
S:I like „..
Teacher continues to ask the other pupils.
(设计意图:从学生的兴趣出发,让学生练习运用“I like doing something”句型,为介绍自己的业余爱好打基础。)
T(Show many stamps ):Look, I’ve got lots of stamps, because I collect stamps.
Use teaching card to teach new word. Let many pupils read this word one by one.
T: Do you collect stamp?
S: Yes, I do. / No, I don’t.
Teacher asks many children, then let them ask and answer each other.
(设计意图:通过―邮票‖引出―收集‖这个单词,教学上比较衔接,非常符合逻辑。通过让许多学生读单词,以便纠正发音,同时引起学生的注意,加深记忆。通过互相问答,进一步巩固句型,同时鼓励学习好的学生扩大询问范围,如:Do you collect dolls/ kites/ books /cars/ computer games?拓展学习范围。)
T: I collect stamps, because collecting stamps is my hobby.Learn to say new word ―hobby‖.
T:(课件出示一些中国邮票)Look, these stamps are from China. Have you got any stamps from China?
S: Yes, I have. /No, I haven’t.
(设计意图:练习重点句型,先问个别学生,再拓展到全班学生,培养学生小组合作的习惯和能力,这样可以兼顾所有学生,黑体字表示读的时候语气重一点,引起学生的注意。)
T: Have you got any stamps from Canada?
S: Yes, I have. / No, I haven’t.
T(课件出示各国邮票):Look, these stamps are from¬¬¬¬¬¬¬ ____(America).
These stamps are from ______. (England)
These stamps are from _____. (Mexico)
These stamps are from _______? (Canada)
They are famous men and women.
(设计意图:从学生的实际和情感出发,由本国到外国,由熟悉到不熟悉,逐渐引出生词,通过语境让学生理解句子的意思。在读句子的时候慢慢读,让学生自己说出国家名,培养学生的观察力。同时读句子的时候请学习好的学生领读,降低学习难度。)
3.Presentation
1)Presenting the new words and sentences
T:Look,there are two men in this stamp.(出示单词卡片men,教授后出示只有一个男人的图片,出示单词卡片man,让学生观察,进而理解名词的复数)
以同样方式教授women和woman。
T:Oh!There is another stamp.(给学生出示之前未展示的邮票,让学生在创设的情境中理解another的含义)
运用齐读、个读等方式教学单词another,并让学生写三遍。
2)Presenting the new text
T: Do you want to know Simon’s hobby?
Ss:---
T:Right.Next,listen to the tape carefully and try to answer my qustions.(将问题板书)1) What’s Simon’s hobby? 2)Has Simon got any stamps from China?
The first time ,close your book,just listen;the second time,listen carefully and answer the two qustions;the third time,open your book and read the dialogue following the tape.
先让学生听,对课文内容有个整体的理解,然后打开课本并跟着录音读,培养学生的听读等能力。
4.Practice
A bombing game
T: Now, boys and girls, let’s play a bombing game (爆炸游戏) . Let’s say together until I clap my hands. When I clap my hands, you must sit down. Clear? If you do not sit down or if you are slower than others, you must repeat what I say three times. Clear? (全班起立,教师和学生同时说, 教师做随时都要拍手的动作,让学生在全神贯注的游戏中模仿说:collect,collect, I collect stamps;stamp,stamp,I’ve got lots of stamps;---)
八.Homework
1)Listen to the tape three times and read the text to your parents.
2)make a table about your friends’ hobbies and hand it in next class.
